When processing section 2 of the I9 you are going to be presented with an option that asks if the employee provided a receipt.

DO NOT SELECT THIS OPTION. This option is only to be selected when the employee is providing you with a TEMPORARY ID.

It does not mean that the employee is providing you with a copy of their ID.

AGAIN DO NOT SELECT THE OPTION THAT ASKS IF THE EMPLOYEE PROVIDED A RECEIPT UNLESS THEY ARE PROVIDING YOU WITH A TEMPORARY ID.

IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE EMPLOYEE PROVIDED YOU WITH A COPY OF THEIR ID.

It is only to be selected when the employee provides a temporary ID.
