1st take as many appointments as you are offered, work with as many different signing services that you can and accept the service rates that are offered.  The more appointments you take, the more money you will make.  The more services you work for the more opportunity for repeat business and the more money you will make.  Most of your profit is in the second cup of coffee, so gaining the trust of your customers and getting them to call you again and again and again is key.

2nd save money on office supplies  You can save yourself 100′s even 1000′s of dollars per year by buying office supplies in bulk.  As an example, rater then buying 1 or 2 reams of paper at a time, buy box or two at a time.

Buy your self 1 nice pen to use and no other.  Do not offer pens to signers as part of your service unless you have received the pen for free.  Sounds silly but it’s one more way to save, making your mobile notary service business more profitable.

Before buying a printer find out what the cost per printed page is for the toner that’s required.  You may end up paying a few dollars more for the printer that offers the lowest coast per printed page, but you will most certainly make it up and them some through the life of your printed.  And never use an inject printer for your business, the cost per printed page can be extremely high.

3. get your self a Debit/Loyalty cards that offers cash back on purchase.  Keeping more of your money is AWESOME!   Most retailers offer some sort of rewards program offering incentives, savings and cash back on purchases.  Your going to be spending the money on you Mobile Notary Public business anyways, so you might as well take the opportunity to save where you can, putting more profit dollars in your pocket.
